Oh, I'm Working from Home Today........

When I hear those words especially from folk here in my office I get sick to my stomach.. Bull-dookie you're working from home. Let's paint a picture of me "working from home" ....
Wake up
Give a shout out to the Lord, thanking Him for the day
Handle my daily morning "business"
Get a drink
Lay back down to do some journaling and have some quick devotion time.
Talk on the phone with my cousin Ko-Igga about life, love and living holy perhaps... Call my job and say "hey guys... I'm working from home today" Holla back shawty's......
Take a shower
Blast some good pick me up music, something Gospel. Perhaps some Stephen Hurd, maybe Israel and New Breed. If I'm on the secular tip hey I'll pop in my boy Eric Robersons CD the Vault vol 1.5... (http://www.ericrobersonmusic.com/) (plug for eric... check him out-he's hot)
Perhaps, I'll go for a walk then eat some breakfast or vice verse whichever I'm feeling like 1st.
Then let's turn on the TV to see what the weather in going to be...I am working from home after all.
Hop on the net to write a little something for blogger land.
Read my friends blog and others that I have come to enjoy.
So what's next on the agenda? I guess I should make a list of all that I need to do today for "work"

I'm hungry I think its time for lunch.... Hummus Pita today, perhaps some baked beans and fresh lemonade, YUMMY........ I guess I'll watch a movie while I eat. Cool...
Ok I need to get some work done. Log into the network from lap top "C" that I borrowed from work. Check my email only to find myself with an attitude because one of my dumb co-workers is talking smack about something I supposedly didn't do and had the nerve to copy my boss.. Wack! I'm not dealing with this crap so I log into my hotmail account to see if any of my peeps emailed me. 3 or 4 emails cool. I'll answer them..
Oh shoot Oprah's about to come on let me fix a snack and get ready to see what she is about to hook her audience up with. (a house, a car, some jewelry perhaps a new ipod) hook me up O!
The five o'clock news is on. Do I really feel like hearing all the bad things that they have to say about SOUTH EAST D.C.!!? Hell no, they get on my nerves with that foreal foreal....
Maybe I can get some work done. Get back on the computer to finish writing my memo and now I am at a loss for words. Oh well, it's 5:30 I'm off now.....
Log off the computer and pack it back up
Turn on the radio
straighten up, because I had a long day........
Pop some clothes in the washer.
Make a couple phone calls to my homies. Humm....Who shall I call.. My mama... Angie... I'll drop a line to Tina too I haven't spoken to her in minute.......
Ok, its time to wind down for the evening, I need to decide now if I am going to work tomorrow or if I am going to work from home again.........
