So Proud. . .

I have serious issues as it relates to spending money and more specifically as it relates to using credit cards.
With that said, I decided to be proactive and take some small steps towards decreasing my desire for THINGS.
Over the past two days, I am happy to say that I unsubscribed from many of the promotional emails that I receive including Gap, Sears, World Market and others. I did this so I won't be tempted to spend or charge things that I really don't need. I also deleted my stored credit card out of amazons one click purchase (which was a BIG source of my spending)
in hopes that I will think twice about purchasing another book that I won't read until next year, or a CD that I won't be able to really enjoy until months from now cause I already have a lot that I haven't had the opportunity to listen to.
Anyway this was a little but BIG step for me and I am sooooooo proud! Not to mention that I know God will be pleased.

Oh Sandy, I am SO proud of you!! This is not a little step, this is HUGE in my eyes. So many times we aren't aware how destructive our spending can be, and so we make no steps to change anything. I believe God will really honor the steps you have taken, and will help you do even more. You've blessed my heart just reading about this. Keep up the good work...I am always in your corner!
