..... As Cake is to Sandy (Part Deux)

As many of you know, cake is my drug, so I've decided TODAY that I can no longer bake cakes, cupcakes or anything resembling it in my home. (or anywhere else for that matter).

I was baking mini cupcakes to bring to a friend who is celebrating a birthday tomorrow, and I think I ate about 7 of them. (which may equal 3 1/2 regular cupcakes) Not to mention the spoonfuls of batter and icing I ate as well.

I know cake is my weakness which is why I tried to wait as late as I could to bake them. (thought that would work. NOT!) If someone wants cake for their birthday it will have 2B be purchased because I obviously know NO boundaries.

This also comes after a great workout today where I actually ran about a mile (which is big for me) and I worked my shoulders, and abs. I felt good, and now? I feel fat... (cute, but fat)

With that said, I'm checking myself back into rehab folk. Wish me well as I enter for about the 29th time.... deep sigh..... While in some ways I can chuckle about this, I think I would rather cry but that won't do me any good. Instead, I'm gettin back up, dustin myself off and beginning my healing. Again. The theme of my life... Again....

(I guess I should be happy that I even have an again, hello!)

Oh, sweet thing, don't beat yourself up too bad. I know, I know...cake is your thing! I know you are trying to get it all under control, so I think your decision to stop baking cakes at your house is a good one. Struggle, if you must, but keep moving forward.

Hey Sistah...maybe you shouldn't cut cakes completely off...try getting the low fat ones and having 1 a week. We can eat what we like...but in moderation....It's all good though...we are both a work in progress with eating better and working out...WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US! daruis- i fell off the wagon completely all week, its all good I am starting a fresh and a new this week!

keisha- you are right when i was on weight watchers one of the team leaders said that i need to work what I love into my diet so I wont over do it. i can be an extremist sometimes but i do think you are right. I should simply work it in... thanks for the encouragement!

Why not try baking low-fat, or sugar subsitute cakes? That way if you slip....you won't hurt yourself. :)
